MMMS2026 is the Fifth International Conference on Material, Machines and Methods for Sustainable Development that will be held on November 5 to 8, 2026 at the Ba Ria - Vung Tau City, Viet Nam.
The International Conference on Material, Machines, and Methods for Sustainable Development (MMMS) is an international symposium that covers a wide range of topics. MMMS is dedicated to the development of engineering and sustainable manufacturing for the benefit of a global society. The event is hosted by the Vietnam Association of Science Editing (VASE) in collaboration with Petro Vietnam University (PVU), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Kyungpook National University (KNU-Korea), Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT-Japan), Vietnam Federation of Mechanical Engineering Associations (VFMEA) and Council of Asian Science Editors (CASE)
In this event, participants will explore and ensure an understanding of the critical aspects that contribute to sustainable development, especially materials, machines, and methods. From such understanding, the conference aims at an overall approach to assist policymakers, industries, and researchers at various levels to position the local technological development towards sustainable development in the global context, and to assist decision-making towards a greener approach, especially for material, machines, and methods.
Researchers, policymakers, industry, practitioners, and students from all countries are welcome to participate and submit papers to the conference topics.
Conference sessions along with keynotes and workshops at the conference will be highly interactive to ensure the maximum exchange of information and ideas related to the topics. Such activities will allow fresh feedback for researchers, as well as crucial input for policymakers.
MMMS2018 - The first conference was organized in Da Nang and has obtained great success with almost 500 participants from 10 countries and resulted in 130 proceedings publications and 70 international journal publications.
MMMS2020 - The second conference was organized in Nha Trang and has been successful more than expected at the edge of Covid-19 time. It attracted more than 500 participants from 10 countries and resulted in 143 proceedings publications indexed by Scopus (Book 1), and 39 proceedings conference publications (Book 2).
MMMS2022 -The third conference was organized in Can Tho and has attracted a substantial number of submissions, with nearly 600 entries from authors in approximately 10 countries. Among them, 191 papers have been published across 3 volumes indexed by Scopus. The contents of the volumes can be found here: Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3.
